Depart from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) on El Al flight LY26 at 9:00 PM. Enjoy overnight service as we begin our journey to the Land of the Bible.
Day 2 - Monday, February 22, 2027
Welcome to Israel - Tel Aviv - Jaffa
Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport at 2:20 PM, where you will meet your guide and driver. We begin with a visit to ancient Jaffa, one of the world’s oldest port cities. Walk through its charming alleyways and enjoy views over the Mediterranean Sea. Dinner and overnight at the Dan Panorama Hotel Tel Aviv
Day 3 - Tuesday, February 23, 2027
From the Mediterranean to the Galilee
After breakfast, we travel north along the coast. Explore the impressive Roman remains of Caesarea Maritima. Visit Muhraka Monastery on Mount Carmel. Experience first-century life at Nazareth Village (lunch included). Stand atop Tel Megiddo overlooking the Jezreel Valley.
Continue to the Sea of Galilee region. Dinner and overnight at Ramot Resort Hotel..
Day 4 - Wednesday, February 24, 2027
The Golan Heights
Breakfast at Hotel. Today you will explore the dramatic landscapes and history of Israel’s northern frontier, the Golan Heights. From there, you will visit the Valley of the Tears, a key battlefield from the Yom Kippur War, gaining insight into Israel’s modern history. Continuing on, you will arrive at Caesarea Philippi, a site of great biblical importance where Peter made his declaration about Jesus. The day concludes with a visit to Tel Dan Nature Reserve, where you will walk among lush greenery, flowing springs, and ancient remains. Evening teaching session (TBD). Dinner and vernight at Ramot Resort Hotel.
Day 5 - Thursday, February 25, 2027
The Ministry of Jesus Around the Sea of Galilee
Breakfast at hotel. This day is dedicated to exploring the region where much of Jesus’ ministry took place. You will begin going up to Mount Arbel, where breathtaking panoramic views of the Sea of Galilee await. Next, you will visit Magdala, an important archaeological site associated with Mary Magdalene. You will then see the remarkably preserved Galilee Boat, dating back 2,000 years, before enjoying a peaceful boat ride on the Sea of Galilee itself. The journey continues to Capernaum, often referred to as Jesus’ ministry base, followed by time for reflection at the Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount is believed to have been delivered. Dinner and overnight at Ramot Resort Hotel.
Day 6 - Friday, February 26, 2027
Jordan Valley & The Dead Sea
After breakfast, you will depart the Galilee region and travel south through the Jordan Valley. Along the way, you will visit Harod Spring, a tranquil and historically significant site, and explore the ancient Roman city of Beit She’an, known for its impressive ruins and well-preserved streets. Continuing south, you will stop in Jericho, considered one of the oldest cities in the world. By afternoon, you will arrive at the Dead Sea, where you will have the opportunity to float in its uniquely mineral-rich waters. As evening approaches, you will enjoy a special Shabbat dinner, marking the beginning of the Sabbath. Dinner & overnight at Enjoy Dead Sea Hotel.
Day 7 - Saturday, February 27, 2027
Masada - Jerusalem
Breakfast at hotel. Your day begins with a visit to Masada, the ancient desert fortress that stands as a symbol of resilience and history. After ascending the site, you will explore its ruins and hear the dramatic story associated with it. You will then travel to Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, a beautiful desert oasis where you can enjoy a hike among waterfalls and wildlife. Next, you will visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, offering a glimpse into ancient biblical texts. As you approach Jerusalem, you will stop at a scenic overlook that provides your first breathtaking view of the Old City. Dinner & overnight at Dan Panorama Jerusalem
Day 8 - Sunday, February 28, 2027
Jerusalem - The Old City
Breakfast at hotel. Walk through biblical history by beginning at the City of David, where you can explore ancient Jerusalem and pass through Hezekiah’s Tunnel before reaching the Pool of Siloam. Continue on to the Davidson Center to gain deeper archaeological and historical context about the area surrounding the Temple Mount. From there, make your way to the Western Wall and spend time in the Jewish Quarter, soaking in both its spiritual significance and vibrant atmosphere. As you move along, stroll through the Cardo, the ancient Roman road that once served as a central marketplace. Conclude your journey with a visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, one of Christianity’s most sacred sites. Dinner & overnight at Dan Panorama Jerusalem.
Day 9 - Monday, March 1, 2027
Remembrance & Modern Israel
Breakfast at hotel. This day offers a blend of remembrance and insight into modern Israel. You will begin with a visit to Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust memorial, where you will reflect on the profound history it commemorates. Next, you will visit the Shrine of the Book to view the Dead Sea Scrolls. You will also see the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, representing the nation’s modern governance. Later, you will travel south to the Nova Festival site, a place of recent historical significance. In the evening, you will take part in a Western Wall Tunnel Tour, offering a deeper perspective beneath the streets of Jerusalem. Dinner & overnight at Dan Panorama Jerusalem.
Day 10 - Tuesday, March 2, 2027
Mount of Olives & Farewell
Breakfast at hotel. Continue your journey at the Mount of Olives, taking in the sweeping views over Jerusalem before descending to the Garden of Gethsemane, a site deeply connected with the final hours of Jesus’ life. From there, visit St. Anne’s Church and the nearby Pools of Bethesda, known for their remarkable acoustics and historical significance. Proceed to the Garden Tomb, where you can take part in a communion service in a peaceful and reflective setting.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner and take advantage of a late check-out before transferring to the airport for your departure on flight LY25 at 12:05 AM.
